  I love love love this store. The folks are kind, patient, knowledgeable and fun. Sometimes a new kid is learning the ropes, so look for a more experienced clerk if you need serious help. They rekeyed my locks for about 8 bucks, have odd items you can't find in box stores, and are very conveniently located. Don't be discouraged by the ugly exterior and boring window displays. This place is great. If you buy a bunch of paint and are nice they might pull out one of the old metal stir sticks for free. They make keys that work, have cleaning supplies, and seasonal items (gardening, snow removal). I think they offer small engine repair, and large loading doors in the alley are convenient. Prices are often higher, but skipping a trip to the box store is worth it.
